Background

Well， when talking about a work of art I have ever seen. I would actually prefer to describe a very impressive oil painting from China called Father. You know， the painting was created by a famous Chinese artist named Luo Zhong Li. More importantly， it was firstly shown on an exhibition in the year of 1980 and a number of people were touched and shocked by this picture. You know what， there were someone even cried in front of this painting. Therefore， this painting is quite popular and well-known in China.

In terms of the paining itself， it shows that a father who is also a farmer standing there with a broken bowl in his hand and looking at you. Besides， his face is fully covered with wrinkles. Well， this painting represents that China just got out of disasters and got rid of old society in China. More importantly， it also stands for thousands of farmers in China who were the main forces in old society.

I am touched and impressed by this painting also for the reason that it reminds me of my own father. Additionally， I feel sad when I saw this painting as Chinese fathers are always giving for the family and his children. Moreover， I feel that we are easily touched by a story or moved by a song but we are hardly impressed by a painting since most of the time we dont really know the meaning of a picture. But this painting indeed touched a number of Chinese peoples hearts. To be frank， it also reminds me of Mona Lisa which is meaningful in western countries， I mean， this painting father can be as important as Mona Lisa in our country.
